Mumbai: plan your visit

Mumbai is a coastal destination in Maharashtra. A waterfront walk and a visit to a listed address are separate parts of the trip, so compare their locations before choosing accommodation. The city’s daytime character comes into focus around Marine Drive; fit that sightseeing around the address and time of the visit you actually choose. The directory offers different kinds of stops, including Kitty Su Mumbai / The Humsafar Trust. Read the place type and visitor notes to choose what fits your visit, and check its individual access conditions.

Transport & before you visit

Use the full street address to compare the outward and return journeys. Check the local operator’s route planner for your date, including the last service; proximity on a city map does not guarantee a convenient late-night connection.

Before visiting, use the place’s official notice for your date to confirm opening or programme times, admission rules and any booking or membership requirement. For an event, check the year and exact venue; an old poster does not confirm a current edition.
