Mongolia’s queer scene is small but increasingly identifiable in Ulaanbaatar. LGBT Centre Mongolia, the country’s first dedicated LGBTQI+ rights organisation, anchors advocacy, youth, health, archives and Equality/Pride programming. The commercial scene is unusually compact but real: C.U.M has a verified weekly Wednesday drag night in September 2026, DiEX/Black w60 remains listed with late-night operating hours and drag programming, and long-running Hanzo evolved into Melody Karaoke. There is no fixed gay district; venues are few and can change names or locations.
